The Rebounders Centre is a purpose built trampoline centre in the heart of Cardiff open to all, but specialising in working with children and adults with any type of special need or disability. Their needs may be physical, mental, behavioural or communication based. Those attending range from those with mild coordination or learning difficulties through to those with little or no movement, speech or understanding. Wheelchair clients are welcome and a hoist is available.
The centre was set up in 2008 with funding received from the Foundation for Sport and the Arts, the Peter Harrison Foundation and others.
The Rebounders Centre comprises
- Trampoline hall set out with trampolines, a soft play area, seating and a small snack shop
- A waiting room and quiet area – the Pad – set out with seating, tables for refreshments, books and quiet games
- Fully accessible toilets
- Free parking
Hiring the Centre
The Rebounders Centre has excellent facilities for trampoline training and coaching courses. It is frequently hired by Welsh Gymnastics and used as a training base for University trampoline clubs. If you are interested in hiring the facilities, please contact us.
